We are at the Guanacaste location for Costa Rica Outriggers to serve the areas of Tamarindo, Conchal and Flamingo. Outriggers canoes are the Costa Rican first truly new and unique tour concept to come along in 15 years.

Since February 15, 2002, we at Guanacaste Outriggers are now offering the tour consistently operated with the traditional excellence you are accustomed.

Our speciality is to take our clients to gorgeous secluded beaches (Probably the most ones they will see on their vacation), featuring a lot of natural resources such as coral reefs, great sea life diversity and natural forests. Is a very reliable transport that allows to enjoy paddling without any risk. For that reason we use the outriggers and we are close to the few unpopulated areas at Northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

Our location in the Flamingo area of Guanacaste lets us explore some of the most gorgeous secluded beaches that the area has to offer. Our trip starts from Sugar Beach ("Pan de Azucar" Beach), we will paddle through the calm and beautiful waters of two small bays with several white sand beaches to arrive to any of four secluded beaches, two of them with coral reefs for snorkeling and all of them with tropical dry forest to explore. Here, you can explore wildlife in its own natural setting, walk by the trail, snorkel in clear waters or just plain relax on the beach and enjoy a buffet of fresh fruit and drinks.

Sugar Beach was chosen because it is the last housed beach of the area, then the closer beach to the secluded ones.

Our recipe for success though: to have a long history with very much experience in the paddle sports / tourism industry. And now, as a team, we at Guanacaste Outriggers are bringing you the finest paddling tours for non-experienced paddlers, that love nature, in northern Costa Rica.
