Snorkeling

GUANACASTE OUTRIGGERS As part of our tour we include snorkeling on coral gardens. We take advantage of the fact that these beaches have the best places for snorkeling in Guanacaste, with a wide variety of coral reef and marine life (These visited beaches are selected from the few ones that features coral reefs at the Northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica). Our guides, the most natives from this zone, know perfectly the locations for snorkeling and are able to show you the best of the local biodiversity and look for your safety at the same time. Our snorkeling part of the tour takes about 1 - 1½ hours; we leave from the beach, and 10 min later we are on the corals. We like to show, at least, 2 different coral reefs with all their sea life.
Usually, you will have available at least 60% of the catalog of spectacular colored tropical fishes of the reefs' area: 3 kinds of Globefish or Porcupinefish, Puffers (Spotted & Golden), Triggerfish (Blunthead & Orangeside), Stingray (Round & Southern), Giant Manta Ray, Spotted Eagle Ray, Lesser Devil Ray, Moray (Fine-spotted, Jewel, Zebra, & Panamic Green), Reef Cornetfish, Jack, Rainbow Runner, Snapper (Pacific Dog, Blue-and-gold & Spotted Rose), Porkfish, Spottail Grunt, Leather Bass, Scorpionfish (Spotted & Rainbow), Hawkfish (Coral & Giant), Damselfish (Giant & Scissorttail), Wrasse (Cortez Rainbow, Chameleon, Dragon & Spinter), Sergeant Major, Nightsergeant, Cardinalfish (Pink & Tailspot), Redlight Goby, Hogfish, Soldierfish, Parrotfish (Bicolor & Bumphead), Angelfish (King, Cortez, ...), Butterflyfish, Barberfish, Moorish Idol, Boxfish, among others.... We have the standard in the snorkeling activity of one person of Guanacaste Outriggers each 4 clients, non-experienced people must wear the life jacket and the activity is 100% guided. Some natural conditions, like the weather or migrations of some species, are variables of the tour that we have no control over. But we'll be in the best location for snorkeling on the Northern Pacific Coast. We provide snorkels, masks, and life jackets for the snorkeling activity. |
